Sarah Summer Program Review
Those persons who have never had to suffer from a yeast infection should be thankful for this because the symptoms of this particular ailment can be quite annoying. By no means should you live in fear of developing a yeast infection though. Instead, take some time to know what the symptoms are so that you will be prepared to take action straight away.
The most common type of yeast infection in women occurs in and around the area of their vagina. Some of the symptoms that a woman will encounter with this type of a yeast infection include:
1.Itching
2.A burning sensation
3.Pain while urinating
4.A discharge that looks like cottage cheese
5.Discomfort during sexual intercourse (Sometimes a bloody discharge will also accompany this pain.)
Whenever any of these symptoms are present, you should see your doctor in order to find out if you do indeed have a yeast infection. Some women get yeast infections frequently enough that they do not need to see a doctor as they are simply able to purchase an over the counter medication in order to take care of the problem. However, if you are pregnant, have diabetes, are under the age of 12-years-old or have other special medical concerns, then you should never self medicate as it could make your condition worse.
Of course, you should also know that there are some other conditions that do manifest themselves as though you had a yeast infection. Some of these other conditions include:
1.Contact dermatitis
2.Allergic reactions
3.STD's (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) such as genital warts, herpes or pin worms
Men are also able to experience yeast infections. They will feel the same itching sensation that women do, however this itching will be on the foreskin of their penis. It is also possible for them to become sore and tender and have some whitish growth on the tip of their penis.
It is also possible to develop a yeast infection in other parts of your body. For instance, you can develop a yeast infection in your throat, which will be accompanied by extreme discomfort and soreness. If you develop a yeast infection on your skin, then you will experience both itchiness and flakiness. Your skin will also become darker with very red patches.
Once a yeast infection becomes severe, the yeast will begin multiplying in your gut. This means that your system will begin to be poisoned. When this happens you may experience the following:
1.Tiredness
2.Weakness
3.A bloated stomach
4.Indigestion
5.Constipation
6.Difficulty digesting food
7.An infected bloodstream
8.Brain fog
If you ever get a yeast infection, make sure that you take the necessary precautions before it gets too severe. This is important because once a yeast infection becomes severe, it can totally compromise your immunity. Of course, this can only be made worse if you happen to already have an underlying condition such as cancer or AIDs. For this reason, you should get into the good habit of building up your immunity through good eating habits.
